The leading digital event “Digital Media Europe”, organized by the World Association WAN-IFRA takes places every year in London. Participants from more than 40 countries came together from the 20th to 22nd of April to discuss new ideas, strategies and solutions, and moreover to celebrate the year’s most innovative projects. A jury that compares and evaluates all the current digital projects grants the Digital Media Europe award.
This year EPOS was honored with an award for “Best in Tablet Publishing”. The app won the jury over with its superior storytelling and innovative implementation realized with the Purple Publishing Suite.
The Purple Publishing Suite is a powerful production environment for content-based apps. It can be easily integrated into the production process to ensure efficient workflow. As a starting point, individual elements or PDF, InDesign and Photoshop files that are imported into the design environment can be used. Interactions and animations can moreover be created there directly. The team of EPOS imported texts, images and videos into Purple and accordingly converted it to scrollytelling. Contents are exported as XML for individual native apps and simultaneously as HTML5 for online channels.
Purple Publishing Suite allows designers, journalists, marketing and communications experts to independently create high-quality solutions for mobile devices. Lear more about Purple.
