Senior IT Project Manager (all genders welcome)

Project management at SPRYLAB means developing web platforms and apps that fit our customers precisely, together with them. We are there as a technical partner to advise and support, in order to turn an idea into a great product. As a PM you are the central point of contact and, together with our IT architects, play a key part in shaping the customer's idea, working it out in detail and then making it a reality as a team.

SPRYLAB develops digital platforms and apps. Our customers are larger mid-sized companies and corporates, but some start-ups have also first seen the light of day with us. Our vision is to enable new business models with platforms and to improve processes and interactions. That is how we create value for people at work and in their private lives.

THE TEAM

The Software Services business unit at SPRYLAB consists of 25 project managers and developers. What connects us is our passion for interesting platform projects and our curiosity about customers from a wide range of industries. We value spending time together in person and meet every Tuesday in our office opposite the KaDeWe in City West.

BROAD AND VARIED: YOUR TASKS

As a project manager at SPRYLAB you advise our customers on delivering custom software solutions. In the role of product owner you are the central interface between customers and colleagues in interdisciplinary project teams.

Together with our IT architects you run requirements workshops and produce project concepts that customers are excited about.

In day-to-day operations you steer complex IT projects, from gathering requirements, budgeting and planning through agile delivery to the successful launch of the solutions developed.

Together with the team you develop our project management process further and make sure that what we learn in individual projects benefits everyone.

WELL EQUIPPED: YOUR PROFILE

  • You already have 5+ years of experience successfully delivering complex web and app IT projects and leading project teams. Experience in designing one-sided and two-sided platforms or portals in particular would be welcome.
  • You can explain difficult matters simply and understandably and work out solutions to challenging problems.
  • You have extensive experience with agile project methods (SCRUM in particular) and the relevant tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • You are also confident with the tools of the MS Office suite, Excel and PowerPoint in particular.
  • You are at home in the digital world and have a strong affinity for the digital industry, both from the user's perspective and from the provider's.
  • You communicate precisely in speech and writing and can win others over to your ideas, with business fluency in German as well as English.

That would be a plus:

  • Ideally you have a technical background or have worked as a developer yourself.
  • Ideally you have experience in UX prototyping or wireframing.

A WARM WELCOME: OUR PROFILE

  • 86% recommendation rate and the "Top Company 2024 Award" on Kununu.
  • Hybrid work: fully remote outside Berlin; for our Berlin team, 4 days of working from home per week are possible.
  • You are always welcome in the Berlin office at Wittenbergplatz. There you will find height-adjustable desks, good coffee, cold soft drinks and free lunch (the last of these on our shared team day).
  • Fancy a change of scene? 30 days of workation within the EU per year keep you flexible about where you work.
  • Flexible working hours make it straightforward to combine work and family.
  • Mobility: we offer you (e-)bike leasing via JobRad or a monthly BVG or Deutschlandticket subscription with an employer contribution.
  • Udemy, further training, conference attendance and certifications. Individual training and development measures are a matter of course for us, and we want you to use them.
  • Volleyball in summer, mulled wine tasting in winter or indoor surfing to celebrate the end of a project. With several team events a year you have the chance to get to know your colleagues better. The highlight is our annual two-day summer retreat at changing offsite locations.
  • Last but not least, and we hope you see it the same way: we are looking for a long-term working relationship and want to grow together with the people who work here.
